Artist Bio:
From their beginnings in 1978, Vancouver’s D.O.A. have been recognized worldwide as the founders of hardcore punk. Led by the unrelenting Joey “Shithead” Keithley, D.O.A.’s sound and message have inspired generations of musicians and fans, championing causes like anti-racism, environmental justice, and free speech. With a career spanning over four decades, the band has released more than 20 albums, toured relentlessly across the globe, and shared the stage with punk’s greatest icons. Their politically charged anthems and raw, high-energy shows continue to prove why D.O.A. are called the “Godfathers of Hardcore.”
