A gold- and platinum-selling recording artist, Michaels first gained prominence in the 1990s with albums such as Paradiso (1994), Arizona (1996), and Utopia (1998), featuring standout tracks like “Europa,” “Aranjuez,” “Memento,” and “Fuego,” which became staples of Canadian adult contemporary and instrumental radio.
